Career Services (CS) seeks to provide University of Toledo (UT) students and alumni with the resources necessary to implement a successful employment search. Please read and review our policies listed below as well as our Privacy Policy.
In exchange for access to RocketJobs/NACElink, CS’s site for on-campus positions, part-time openings, internships, full-time employment listings and candidate resume referrals, students and alumni agree to abide by the following:
I consent to the release of my resume by Career Services to requesting employers.
I will present my abilities, qualifications, interests, and resume credentials honestly and accurately.
I will provide accurate information about my academic work and records, including courses taken, grades, positions held, and duties performed.
I agree to have a valid email address and phone number for the purpose of having employers or Career Services contact me if and when necessary.I will keep all interview appointments. If I need to cancel, I will cancel at least 48 business hours in advance of the interview. In an emergency situation, I will notify Career Services as soon as possible and know that my situation will be reviewed and documentation will be requested. I also understand that missing a scheduled interview, or failing to cancel an interview within 48 business hours, will cause my access to RocketJobs/NACElink to be suspended until a formal apology to the employer is written, approved, and sent.
I will notify employers of my acceptance or rejection of employment offers by the time mutually agreed upon by both parties.
I will honor an accepted offer and discontinue interviewing upon providing verbal or written acceptance. I understand that reneging is unprofessional and may be cause for suspension of access to the RocketJobs/NACElink system.
I will report suspicious inquiries to Career Services. Understand that job seekers can be deceived by organizations posing as legitimate employers. Evidence of this behavior includes requests for personal information (i.e. Social Security numbers or credit card numbers) and requests for money. If you're suspicious of such an organization, do not respond to them and please share details with us at CareerServices@utoledo.edu
I will interview only with employers for whom I am interested in working and whose eligibility requirements I meet.
Consequences for non-compliance can include having your RocketJobs/NACElink privileges suspended or revoked.
